We use technology to tell stories and learn about our environment.

Hello. I’m Jordan. My primary mission is to use technology to learn more about whales and dolphins in Hawaii. I joined Cascadia Research Collective (CRC) in 2018 as a research assistant and have been implementing more UAV focused research ever since. We are using these tools to measure and breath sample small/medium sized odontocetes to answer a variety of different questions. You can learn more about the research we do at CRC by following this link.

Social media has been a productive platform to share my experiences on the water and has led to collaborations between different industries. My goal is to combine visual storytelling with solid science to promote research-based conservation initiatives. This year I'm planning to have other scientists and researchers can use my platform to reach a wider audience. If this is of interest to you, please contact me.
